This is a project designed to ignite passion for reading and writing using our wiki as a shared storytelling space. Many times teachers having to focus on certain types of writing and meeting certain learning goals, we lose that sense innovation and fun, intrigue, mystery and excitement of spinning our own wild tales. So, here is your chance to motivate and inspire others to read your continuation of the tale of ... Since this is still... kind of a school project, let's remember our three focus points for first quarter.

When you have ventured down the path of one writer's adventure, please leave a postcard discussion post commemorating your visit. What surprised you? What did you find out? What do you think will happen next? What were you left wondering? How did you feel? What did this remind you of?

This idea was inspired by: Students of Grade 3-4 at Bellaire Primary School in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. It is the adventures of a tennis ball called Terry. Teacher, Mr Pearce, started the story on the 29th of April 2006 and students have been adding to it since.

Phut, the lid came off the container. Terry was free at last. For so long he had been crammed up tight next to his two brothers in a can on the shelf in the sports store. Now he could see the sky and feel the air on his fluffy skin and he felt happy to be out. Straight away though he felt himself falling, down, down, down.

Soon Terry was bouncing, bouncing, bouncing before he
